Bronchitis is a medical condition that is an inflammation of the bronchi of the lungs . The disease can manifest itself in two forms, according to the course and duration: acute bronchitis and chronic bronchitis . Chronic bronchitis is manifested by coughing and expectoration for a period of three months a year, over several consecutive years. While in acute bronchitis the symptoms are cough and expectoration for more than three weeks. This disease in most cases is due to viruses, and in the rest it has a viral-bacterial origin. The causes of bronchitis can be the long-term use of tobacco and tobacco products or industrial pollution.
Bronchitis symptoms can be a dry cough at the beginning, followed by a mucous-purulent secretion, sneezing and runny nose (in the initial stage), sore throat and fever.
Treatment of bronchitis is mainly to relieve the symptoms. Often, a combination of drugs is used, freeing the blocked bronchial passages and liquefying the secretion, making it easier to release it. Products containing thyme, anise and fennel, licorice, nettle, eucalyptus oil, garlic and fennel relieve the symptoms of bronchitis.
